Disapproval
on Iraq [Occupation] Hits Record
A quote...."Feb. 26, 2007 — A record number of Americans disapprove of
the war in Iraq, and a clear majority now favors the eventual
withdrawal of U.S. forces, even if civil order has not been restored
there — potentially a tipping point in public attitudes on the war."
So....? Let's be crystal clear about this shall we, the DemoRepub party still needs three
to four more years to wind down this ten year cycle of economic
creative destruction before they launch their next war. If the
economy starts tanking sooner than expected however, they'll just
launch their war with Iran a little earlier than planned.
It's all so pathetically predictable.
The opinions of the men and woman who are currently serving in our
nation's armed forces have never changed where our government told them
to go and who they were told to kill - not ever. And that isn't
going to change anytime soon.
Also none of the opinions expressed by the American public have ever
changed this country's policies regarding the avaricious desires of the
Military-Industrial-Oil-Complex, except perhaps in one particularly
important
case. And that event - called Vietnam - was so traumatic to our
illustrious wealthy elites and the neocon monsters they now conspire
with that they embarked on a thirty year Straussian
campaign
to permanently change our frail and deeply flawed "democratic" republic
into their sick, perverted and twisted version of the New Roman Empire.
A plan that involved the murder of almost three thousand Americans
along with millions of people in the Middle East.
A plan that involved the desecration of all that this nation has ever
publicly professed it stood for.
Everyone should understand that we're all simply cattle to these
wealthy elites and their neocon brethren. We're all just food to
them. Would you ask your steak what it wants? Would you ask
your baked potato how it feels? The question one has to ask is why ABC
has even bothered to ask the food for an opinion when it doesn't effect
any of the outcomes?
One would have to guess it's perhaps a sentimental homage to the last
vestiges and archaic traditions of democracy that used to exist in this
country.
Perhaps the necons and their rich masters are even getting a little
nervous about the answers? - mpg
