Ex-Rice
Aide: Memory Lapse on Iran "Really Quite Curious"
A quote...."I just got off the phone with Flynt Leverett, a former CIA
Mideast analyst and National Security Council staffer during President
Bush's first term. Leverett says he finds it "really quite curious"
that Secretary Rice is pleading a memory lapse on an Iranian offer
shortly after the Iraq war to, among other things, recognize Israel."

Scheer: Rice More Sordid Than Foley
A quote....On Monday, a State
Department spokesman conceded that
then-National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice had indeed been briefed
in July 2001 by George Tenet, then-director of the CIA,
about the alarming potential for an Al
Qaeda attack, as Bob Woodward has reported in his aptly named new book,
“State
of Denial.”
“I don’t remember a so-called
emergency meeting,”
Rice had said only hours earlier, apparently still suffering from some
sort of post-9/11 amnesia thatseemed to
afflict her during her forced testimony to the 9/11 Commission."
Maybe Rice has Alzheimer’s, perhaps she should consider resigning for
"health reasons"....Oh no, not her's - she should resign for this
Nation's health. While she remains as Secretary of State we're
all in danger from her forgetfulness.
Who knows she might forget
about the next security briefing and another “fortuitous event" might
occur just in time to propel this Nation to war against Iran. We
wouldn’t want that to happen now would we? - mpg
