All societies since the beginning of human history have modeled their cultures, laws and traditions on the four major life cycles, or changes, that occur in a person's life, which arise from natural procreation and natural bonding, social processes which in turn determine familial relationships (extended, or its less natural nuclear variant), child rearing, social support networks, and family inheritance... They've celebrated the Spring of Birth and Childhood, its wide-eyed newness, exploration, and learning, the Summer of Puberty, its fertility and identity, along with its beauty, youth, innocence and energy. The Height of Mid-Summer, its rites of courtship and the expected bonding of Marriage for natural procreation, the creation of family, and inheritance. The start of Late Summer along with the coming of Fall's twilight, as couples and extended family members grow old together while watching their progeny mature to forge families of their own. Finally, at the end, all societies have established traditions to mourn the passing of its members into the Winter of death and comfort those who remain behind. All these traditions, ALL OF THEM, are utterly and totally anathema to those who ALWAYS appear after the peak and during the decline and decadent phases of the largest, most corrupt, Empires, Kingdoms or what were formally Republics. The attitudes of rejection, of negation, of these traditions, specifically Marriage, by these groups cannot be otherwise since these groups were not, and COULD NOT EVER HAVE BEEN, included in these societal structures because they embrace the very antitheses of the fundamental nature of these structures, and the cultures, laws, and traditions that they are composed of. A fundamental nature whose foundations reside deep in our genetic code and racial memory, back to the very beginnings of humanity's history, and whose four major life transitions are utterly dependent on the act of natural reproduction and natural pair bonding, or its less widespread plural variants. These groups must, sooner or later, viscerally reject such traditions, no matter how strenuously and pathetically they try to emulate them or demand they be included. Eventually, their attempts, along with what few "successes" they achieve, will wither away just as the utterly corrupt Empires that spawned the abhorrent open acceptance and codification of their behaviors will also whither away.
