Ahmed Awad is an officer in Abbas' Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablis. Iyad Awad is an officer in Abbas' General Intelligence services in Ramallah. -- Both the Preventative and General Intelligence services of Fatah are armed, trained and funded by the U.S." Now what would two bona fide "made" men of the US-NRE/AIPAC/Israeli Consortium be doing contracting out the whacking of an Israeli family in the middle of the night by having them stabbed to death? Most perplexing? This family was probably not chosen at random, whoever is investigating this should look at who this family knew and what they were involved in. This smells suspiciously like a contract killing or covert operation to be blamed on Palestinian "radicals" as the article's author tries to do by linking the PA's General Intell to the Fatah party thence to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and finally Hamas. A stretch by anyone's imagination, even an Israeli's imagination, especially considering BOTH the US-NRE and Israel (which the article conspicuously fails to mention) along with the Saudi Royals (ditto) have been paying billions to the Fatah and the PA for years to attack Hamas since their election in 2006. Now we're supposed to believe Hamas is going to carry out this act on behalf of their bitterest enemy? An act that will discredit them in the eyes of the international community, strengthen Israel's siege against Gaza and lead to massive military attacks against them? Who's kidding who? Instead this looks more like somebody got caught carrying out some sort of unsanctioned operation, and this article looks like somebody's desperately trying to get ahead of the facts in a clumsy and obvious attempt to obfuscate this investigation and spin it toward the "usual suspects", Israels current enemy dejour. The real question of course is what party or parties would hire the PA to carry out this operation, and why? Since Israel is conducting the investigation we can all rest assured that any trails which would lead to Israeli involvement will be carefully erased. - mpg |
