Miami and The Mario Scaramella-Alexander Litvinenko polonium-210 poisoning

December 30-31, 2006 -- WMR's well-placed Italian sources report that the Mario Scaramella-Alexander Litvinenko polonium-210 poisoning and right-wing political operation has been tied by Italian prosecutors to activities in southern Florida, particularly in the Miami area.

Scaramella's interrogation by magistrate Pietro Saviotti at the Regina Coeli in Rome has yielded evidence that Scaramella forged fax documents he claimed were from Litvinenko and were to be handed over the Italian Parliament's Mitrokhin Commitee, a Silvio Berlusoconi-contrivance designed to link top Italian progressive politicians to information obtained from KGB archival materials. Scaramella's documents, said to have originated from Litvinenko, were written by Litvinenko in the first person. Italian prosecutors have determined that Scaramella paid Litvinenko to write the false "KGB" fax documents and that they never originated with the KGB.

Scaramella has reportedly been linked by Italian investigators to Filippo Marino, who is involved in the security business. One of his companies, Securitydirector LLC, is registered at PO BOX 190487, Miami Beach, FL 33119-0487. It has also been discovered that the Italian Consulate in Miami was used as a major base of operations by Scaramella. In fact, all of the forged documents passed by Scaramella to the Mitrokhin Committee were authenticated and officially marked by the Italian Consulate in Miami.

Scaramella's other official government interlocutors reportedly  include Joe Salvetti, a top U.S. intelligence official or CIA "pezzo da novanta" ("big gun"), said to be the one-time CIA station chief in Rome, who introduced Scaramella to former Italian Interior and Foreign Minister Vincenzo Scotti, who was accused of having contacts with the Naples-based Camorra crime syndicate during the 1980s and 90s, and Louis Palumbo, another CIA intelligence officer with "family" roots in the Campania Region and perfect CIA bona fides ("in perfetta regola") who participated in Scaramella's July 26, 2004 "Environmental Crime Prevention Program (ECPP)" conference in London. The London conference was organized by Scaramella and former KGB Oleg Gordievski, who has since denounced Scaramella as a pathological liar.

Litvinenko-Scaramella-Berezobsky network now linked to Miami Beach, home of key members of the Russian-Israeli mob, Jeb and Marvin Bush's global financial interests, and right-wing zealots and intelligence operatives of various nationalities.

At the conference Scaramella and Russian spy-defector Victor Suvorov announced that there were Russian undersea nuclear mines off the coast of Sicily, a charge that was later discovered to be fraudulent. Gordievski's role with Scaramella was apparently helping to translate documents from Litvinenko and his brother Maxim. These "translations" were later doctored by Scaramella before delivery to the Mitrokhin Committee in order to pressure and blackmail leftist politicians in Italy.

WMR has previously reported on Scaramella's connections to Michael Penders, a former counsel for the Environmental Protection Agency's Criminal Enforcement Division. More interesting is Scaramella's connections to two one-time former officials of Lockheed-Martin who participated in Scaramella's ECPP conference at Gaeta, near Naples, in November 2002. The two former Lockheed-Martin officials were Prof. John Siambis of MIT, former Director Division Missiles & Space Lockheed & Martin, Member HTWG ECPP (president plasma s.g. [the conference attendees had a special interest in the plasma wind tunnel at the Italian Center for Aerospace Research - CIRA] ) and Prof. Lee Lundsford, retired Director Space Transportation Division Lockheed & Martin. Penders attended the Gaeta conclave along with Ali Hussen, listed as the "Ambassador of Somaliland." Somaliland, the former British Somaliland, has declared independence from Somalia but it has not received diplomatic recognition from any other country. Scaramella's Somali connections dovetail with those of "Malauna Shaikh Abdul Hadi" Massimo Palazzi, the so-called Secretary General of the Cultural Institute of the Islamic Community in Italy who is also linked to a number of neo-Fascist and ultra-Zionist organizations.

Also at Gaeta were a number of Italian law enforcement officials, including prosecutors from Reggio Calabria, Trieste, Palermo, Torre Annunziata, and Naples.

The Vocce della Campania ran an article on the Nov. 9, 2004 meeting in Gaeta. It states: "The ECPP communiqué on the Capua conference reads: 'On Nov 9 [2002], the location of the [Capua] conference moved to Gaeta in the the Headquarters of the Financial Guard. After having received the official welcome from Col. Mario Farnesi, the delegations reviewed the troops in the Cavour Barracks and were welcomed in the Officers’ Club by Professors John Siambis and Lee Lundsdorf.' Interestingly, Siambis can be found among the paid consultants of the ECPP; he is the person that 'coordinates the group working on the information coming from the Russian expatriates.' And it is this close link that prompted Scaramella to state, 'The ECPP is a structure that is a part of the US Environmental Protection Agency of the US Government.' This is only a partial truth because – as revealed by some members of the Parliament’s Mitrokhin Committee, the 'ECPP, that received requests from the Committee, was divided into three services: US, British and Russian." The Vocce della Campania article provides even greater detail of the presence of a Russian-Israeli mob intelligence network in Italy linked to counterparts inside the American and British governments.

Also of note is the British government's connection to Scaramella and Litvinenko. Not only were traces of polonium-210 discovered in the office of Britain's deputy ambassador at the UK embassy in Moscow, but Britain's Deputy Consul in Naples, Frederick Brian Keever, signed a false passport for Alexander Litvinenko with a fictitious identity: Edwin Redwald Carter. Keever also allegedly countersigned a document prepared by Litvinenko concerning a meeting with a Russian Mafia member who worked for the Russian Federal Security Bureau who was to have trasnported a “nuclear suitcase” from Moscow to Zurich for onward shipment to the Middle East. The document, “authenticated” by the British authorities,  also ended up in the Mitrokhin Committee archives in the Italian Parliament.

The Russian media is reporting on a link between the Boris Berezovsky-Litvinenko-Scaramella link and a retired Major in one of the "western intelligence services." The major, born in one of the Baltic republics, targeted Soviet military advisers stationed in a number of Third World nations. After leaving the service, the officer, who is now said to be 50 years old, obtained a law degree and became a private businessman. He is now reportedly the right-hand intelligence aide to Berezovsky and has helped plan anti-Russian and anti-Vladmir Putin insurrections in Chechnya, Kalmykia, Karelia, Andijan in Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Moldova. Berezovsky, an Israeli citizen, also reportedly had a hand in helping to foment the Israeli-U.S.-inspired anti-Syrian "Cedar Revolution" in Lebanon. Russian-Israeli Mafia fingerprints, as well as those of the Mossad, have been discovered in several car bombings of Lebanese politicians, with the aim to place the blame on Damascus.

Meanwhile, Berezovsky's former Yukos co-owner Leonid Nevzlin, arrived at Newark, NJ from Israel on December 24. Russia and Interpol have arrest warrants out for Nevzlin. Russian authorities requested American authorities to arrest Nevzlin and send him to Russia. With the strong links between the Bush administration and the Russian-Israeli mafia, there is little chance of Nevzlin being brought to justice in Russia.
