If Stuxnet was designed solely to attack centrifuges and electronic turbines that's one thing.  If however it was designed to interfere with the emergency shut-down procedures of any process, specifically those in nuclear power plants, that's a completely different matter altogether.

Israel has faked attacks or transmitted fake information to trigger attacks several times in the past. If their goal was the complete destruction of Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant using the Stuxnet worm -- instead of just slowing its construction -- what's outlined below would've been the most likely scenario.

The Stuxnet worm was actually intended not to be discovered until AFTER the Bushehr plant had been loaded with fuel and gone online. Nuclear plants and their systems are at their most vulnerable during emergency shut-downs. The OBVIOUS policy of the Iranians to any perceived attack, no matter how tenuous or uncorroborated, would be to scram the reactor and shut-down the plant as fast as possible at the first sign of trouble.

The possible sequence is as follows.....
Thankfully the Stuxnet worm was discovered before the fuel was loaded and the plant went operational.

Of course in this scenario Israel could just as easily have scrammed the Bushehr reactor through the Stuxnet worm itself, but a "triple play" like this, were "incompetent" Iranians scram their own brand new reactor full of "bugs" because of their paranoid delusions about a non-existent attack thus causing a catastrophic melt-down damaging the whole Middle East would play out a lot better....after all, they'd be "doing it" to themselves.  Besides, it's just the sort of "triple play" operation Israel loves to carry out. They've done others before....

Just think -- four remoted planes, three controlled demolitions and one completely incapacitated air defense system....another brilliant "triple play".

It would be sad if this is what unintentionally happened to Japan's nuclear reactors, if their safe shut-down was impeded -- in any way -- by the presence of the Stuxnet worm in their control systems (obviously it wouldn't have been deliberate and Stuxnet wouldn't have been "activated" with its final instruction-set according to the speculative scenario shown above).

Still, it is strongly recommended that all of Japan's reactor control systems be examined to see if they've been penetrated and possibly compromised by the Stuxnet worm.  Perhaps Stuxnet should also be analyzed to see if it has been designed to have specific affects on systems as they undergo emergency shut-down procedures or how it affects the operation of water pumps, or if Stuxnet has any tell tale signatures of being designed to receive updates or additional code to implement such destructive actions.

Obviously if Stuxnet is found to have contributed to Japan's disaster, than steps will have to be immediately taken by the entire international community to permanently sanction and isolate Israel and the United States. - mpg

Uptake and bio-concentration in specific human tissues or organs is deadly.

A pico-gram of alpha-emitting plutonium dust sealed in a lab vile will do nothing to you and will hardly register on a Geiger counter (Alpha radiation is "able to be stopped by a few centimeters of air, or by the skin").  If however you inhale, or ingest it, you are dead. Period. End of story. Everybody got it?

Articles that purport to discuss the effects of "radiation" but which do not address the distribution of these particles by quantity and type (that means Alpha and Beta emitters) in radioactive releases, their subsequent bio-concentration or bio-accumulation (in nature and/or the human body), their longevity (half-life), and their radioactive affects once inhaled or ingested on adjacent human tissue, will be ignored by this website editor.

Now we're supposed to believe Hamas is going to carry out this act on behalf of their bitterest enemy?  An act that will discredit them in the eyes of the international community, strengthen Israel's siege against Gaza and lead to massive military attacks against them?  Who's kidding who?

Instead this looks more like somebody got caught carrying out some sort of unsanctioned operation, and this article looks like somebody's desperately trying to get ahead of the facts in a clumsy and obvious attempt to obfuscate this investigation and spin it toward the "usual suspects", Israels current enemy dejour.
