War Update - A
quote...."Fatah al-Islam comes out guns blazing Fatah al-Islam, or
the new al-Qaeda as some are calling it,
was established last
November by guerrillas who had grown disenchanted with the increasingly
pro-Syrian line of Fatah al-Intifada. That in turn is a splinter
group of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement,
founded in the 1960s in Kuwait and which currently is heading its own
war against Hamas in the occupied territories. - bold/italics by

Now just how silly can people get. If anyone wants to know why
this group is popping up right now....simply "follow the money".
About six months ago the US signaled to Saudi Arabia that it would be a

War Warning - A

only alleges that Iran is "already committing daily acts of war against
US and British forces" -- including the increasing mortar attacks on
the Green Zone -- but also asserts that Tehran has entered into an

China

Oil, Stupid...
A quote...."The case of Darfur, a forbidding piece of sun-parched real
estate in the southern part of Sudan, illustrates the new Cold War over
oil, where the dramatic rise in China’s oil demand to fuel its booming
growth has led Beijing to embark on an aggressive policy
of—ironically-- dollar diplomacy. With its more than $1.3 trillion in
mainly US dollar reserves at the Peoples’ National Bank of China,
Beijing is engaging in active petroleum geopolitics. Africa is a major
focus, and in Africa, the central region between Sudan and Chad is
priority. This is defining a major new front in what, since the US
invasion of Iraq in 2003, is a new Cold War between Washington and
Beijing over control of major oil sources. So far Beijing has played
its cards a bit more cleverly than Washington. Darfur is a major
battleground in this high-stakes contest for oil control. "

Secret US plot to kill Al-Sadr
A quote....: The US Army tried to kill or capture Muqtada al-Sadr, the
widely revered Shia cleric, after luring him to peace negotiations at a
house in the holy city of Najaf, which it then attacked, according to a
senior Iraqi government official. - The revelation of this
extraordinary plot, which would probably have provoked an uprising by
outraged Shia if it had succeeded, has left a legacy of bitter distrust
in the mind of Mr Sadr for which the US and its allies in Iraq may
still be paying. "I believe that particular incident made Muqtada lose
any confidence or trust in the [US-led] coalition and made him really
wild," the Iraqi National Security Adviser Dr Mowaffaq Rubai'e told The
Independent in an interview."

asked, “So what’s going to happen to Iraq now?” - “War,” he
said as he smiled savagely, “continuous, beautiful, profitable,
delicious, endless war. So far everyone is doing what they’re supposed
to do, the Saudis are supplying the foreign resistance in Iraq to keep
‘the pot bubbling’ and help divide any national resistance movements as
I told you they would at our last meeting,” he looked at me, I nodded
my head in assent. “We do have the problem of that stupid Moqtada
al-Sadr running around saying he wants a nationalist not a federalist
government. We can’t have that; it could lead to a national resistance
movement. Who would have figured a Shi’ite helping to hold Iraq
together with the Sunnis,” Mr Reficul wondered bemusedly, “but you
don’t have to worry about him, something ‘fortuitous’ will happen to

How
will Iraq share the oil? - posted at
BuzzFlash
A quote...."Washington - The reason Iraq needs to pass a new oil law,
President Bush has said, is to "share oil revenues among all of Iraq's
citizens" – Sunnis, Shiites, and Kurds – and to help unify the
country. - It's a goal broadly supported in the US Congress
and by the Iraq Study Group, whose 2006 report said such an oil law was
needed, too, to "create a fiscal and legal framework for investment" in
the industry. - But now the oil law's status as a US
"benchmark" for progress in Iraq is emerging as a flash point in both
Baghdad and Washington."
Look its real simple. You don't get to have a "fortuitous" attack
sponsored by your rich friends which kills three thousand Americans,
than using that attack as a pretext, along with a massive series of
outright lies, bomb, invade and occupy a country, killing upwards of a
million of its citizens while displacing upwards of four million others
and after all that expect to take their oil.
It doesn't work that way. Actions like that are called home
invasion, robbery and murder. We don't usually reward people who
do that in this country nor should we reward those who do it overseas.
It's really that simple.
So earth to the MIOC elites in the US....It's the Iraqis oil, it
belongs to them, get a grip on that concept, get a grip on reality, get
a grip on yourselves.....and JUST LEAVE! - mpg

It is the nature of the "New Roman Order" to punish all those with a
conscience in this country. By it's judgment, by it's inability
to differentiate between right and wrong, by it's non-compliance with

although unstated, determination that the men and woman serving in this
nation’s armed forces are nothing more than unthinking organic
components of America's Military-Industrial-Oil-Complex and are placed
here on this earth, without conscience, or humanity, or any decent
