The Social Cost Of Capitalism

Than it's NOT "Capitalism".....it's theft....

"Capitalism" is....Def.  A system of "free market" asset allocation that is supposed to use a stable medium of exchange (to maintain constant value) and a reliable "free market" (to determine price) designed to facilitate investment transactions. -- This system hasn't existed in the US for almost a hundred years - It basically ended once the Fed Syndicate was established and their script could be printed at will.

A "Free Market" is....Def.  An efficient price determined exchange system which must comprise the following conditions and components  1) Buyers and sellers are able to freely exchange their goods and services.  2)  They have a stable medium of exchange  3)  They have full knowledge of all aspects of the transaction, the goods and promises being made, and the terms and conditions of the exchange (visibility, transparency, a fixed and agreed upon set of simple rules)  4)  Contracts and promises are honored and enforced (trust, moral hazard, level playing field, fair play). -- This system hasn't existed in the US for over forty years.

You cannot have a "Free Market", thus you cannot have "Capitalism", if you're allowed to externalize and conceal your costs of production, i.e. conceal the true costs of the transaction from the consumer/investor while internalizing your profits, (stealing their money on withheld information and false promises). 

GMO's are a classic example, had the GMO companies told the farmers that their crops would have lower yields, higher costs (more fertilizer, pesticides, etc.), would develop more and more resistance, (and that this was a deliberate part of their business model) could contaminate their other non-GMO crops resulting in law suits and other forms of legal action, (ditto) would also contaminate those of their neighbors, (ditto) could not be replanted, (ditto), that it's designed deliberately to kill off the bee population so farmers can't even pollinate their own non-GMO crops (ditto), so they would be forced to buy GMO "suicide" seeds (ditto) that the GMO companies would have their own special laws passed that would eliminate any chance of legal recourse and would indemnify them from any lawsuits for ANY damages caused by their products (ditto) that they would have one of their own appointed to regulate food "safety" in this country and that finally, these products would cause untold death, disease and misery throughout the world's  population (just take a look at India) and would poison the entire planet's food supply....forever.  -- It is possible that the GMO companies would have had less customers.  At least one would normally think so. - mpg
