Is the Western Media Balanced on Any Scale?
A quote...."Two years ago, a news article about Venezuela in the Christian Science Monitor reported that “Globovisión, widely considered to be the last standing television station to aggressively criticize the Chávez regime, was sold last month to a group of businessmen believed to be friendly with the government.” It is only one sentence in one news article, but in a few ways it reveals that the western media has spent well over a decade parroting anything said by the Venezuelan opposition which is funded and staunchly backed by the US government. For one thing, Andrew Rosati, the reporter I quoted, refers to Venezuela’s democratically elected government as a “regime”. That alone indicates that coverage of the Venezuelan government has been almost one hundred percent negative. Would any reporter refer to “the Obama regime”, and would it ever get past an editor? The same applies to US allies. Good luck finding a western reporter who would dare call Israel’s government a “regime” in a news article."

Must Read - Another PBS (Propaganda Bull Sh*t) Fail!! -- A meticulous, minute by minute, analysis and deconstruction of just how distorted a supposed "balanced" broadcast can be when produced by an organization as thoroughly compromised as this nation's "public" television network. 

PBS's Frontline staged interviews with the usual NGO (i.e. intelligence affiliated) stooges and US-NRE government hacks who've been promoting the PNAC Protocol destruction of Syria for more than a decade. 

Never providing DISCLOSURE on who these people were, or who they were affiliated with, nor their CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.  Never connecting the dots, providing the CONTEXT for these people's assertions and statements.  Utterly failing to provide a proper BACKGROUND on the conflict and it's HISTORICAL origins.  Not identifying the AGGRESSOR, its prior, very similar actions in other countries, its MODUS OPERANDI and its well known, long laid plans regarding this situation, (the PNAC Protocols, "seven countries in five years", etc., etc.) and finally they repeated uncorroborated, malicious, or flat out PROPAGANDA memes, frames and LIES regarding the situation in Syria.

In other words this broadcast was just another sad example, of unimaginative, thoroughly despicable, PBS war mongering propaganda at its worst. - mpg
