Or the vaccine story, wherein the US Government put a rider in the so-called "Patriot" Act indemnifying the pharmaceutical companies from any harm they might do selling their untested vaccines followed soon thereafter by some state governments requiring the mandatory vaccination of children and perhaps the mandatory future vaccination of adults.
