What Is
Money? - Part 15: Hoarding, Old and New Special Note - A

does not multiply by means of fractional reserves. Every digital dollar
in an excess reserves account has a tiny digital sign under it: "The

the Federal Reserve in the second half of 2008 has not doubled prices.
The increase in excess reserves has offset the excess expansion of the
monetary base. The monetarists used to call the monetary base
high-powered money. It is low-powered money these days. -- Excess
reserves allow the FED to buy Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae debt and not
drive up housing prices. Excess reserves allow the FED to buy Treasury
debt and not create hyperinflation. Excess reserves are the FED's
friend. And they cost the FED approximately nothing. -- Keynesians are
not happy about excess reserves, but they are thankful that there is
not hyperinflation. -- I am, too. I would prefer that individuals held
these excess reserves at home. -- What we have today is a system of
digital mattresses. These days, commercial banks hold a trillion

the facilities on Sunday, said Bagram, unlike its Guantanamo

Note: Regarding the two
articles shown above. While cogitating on all the items posted on
this website during the last several years, it appears to this website
editor that it's unlikely the "dead
enders", former Bathist, former Iraqi military and other Sunni
insurgent groups received very much funding from the Gulf States, at
least during the heaviest fighting up through the end of 2006. The one
or two percent (that's US-NRE figures) of the insurgency who were
identified as al Qaeda members probably got the bulk of the
"donations". It wouldn't surprise this website editor of course
to discover the Saudi Royals and other Gulf States may have recently
decided to give a little more aid to the insurgents to help act as a
counter weight to Iran's influence and keep their "hand in". But
no one should ever forget that the US-NRE itself paid over eighty
thousand insurgents (the Awakening Councils) ten dollars each, per day,
for
several years, ostensibly to encourage them to attack "al Qaeda" forces
but in actuality so they wouldn't attack US-NRE forces....one of the

US-NRE
Standard Attack Profiles
(SAPs)
11-16-09 - revised 11-18-09 mpg
Manufacturing
a
Terror
Threat
in
Latin
America
A quote...."Despite Iran not having any military presence in the
region, Norman A. Bailey, former head of intelligence for Cuba and
Venezuela under the Bush Administration, told members of Congress that,
“It is becoming increasingly clear that one of the principal
motivations of all this activity [by Iran] is to be able to retaliate
against the United States if it is attacked.”
Editor's
Special Note -- This is a classic
example of one of
the US-NRE's Standard Attack Profiles (SAPs).
SAPs are a strategy where the US-NRE
falsely claims someone
is doing what the US-NRE intends to do, is doing, or has done, all in
an effort
to deflect attention away from and obfuscate the US-NRE's own very
similar plans or activities.
SAP's are a
“mirror image” propaganda methodology
which appears to have
the peculiar affect of camouflaging the US-NRE’s actual intentions,
preventing
their perception by its own population for the purposes of rational
discussion,
critical analysis and opposition. By projecting a reflection of its
intentions, it's intended attack
"profile" so to speak, or as some would say its "modus operandi" onto
the targeted country or group, the US-NRE is somehow able to hide
its pending crimes
from the world's scrutiny and sanction. For awhile at least.
It's the US-NRE's well honed
and well practiced variant on the "Big Lie" a method where it accuses
someone else of actions it has long planned for, or is carrying out
itself, a standard diversionary or distracting tactic that if allowed
by the population to be repeated successfully without opposition or
criticism on their part, gives a very strong indication that that
nation's population is now highly propagandized and
"well-controlled". That for all practicable purposes they are
living in a fantasy world -- and in point of fact should be
considered delusional....and extremely dangerous, not just to
themselves, but to the entire international community.
For example, the US-NRE
announced to the
world a "preemptive
doctrine", falsely claiming this doctrine was necessary to defend
itself. A doctrine which allowed it to launch several highly
profitable wars of blatant, naked, illegal
aggression and conquest to, as it again falsely stated, fight
"potential
aggression" by other nations.
Also the US-NRE
has stated or implied three
patently
false
claims as justification for its illegal invasion of Iraq
--- Saddam's ownership of, or
attempts to acquire weapons of mass destruction, his links to “al
Qaeda” and
his links to 9/11.All assertions that
were well known at the
time to be completely
untrue and all of them made in an attempt to obfuscate the US-NRE's own
quite
lengthy
history of assisting Saddam to acquire weapons of mass destruction, to
conceal evidence
of the US-NRE's indirect long term assistance to "al Qaeda" and
finally to deflect attention away from the
overwhelming
evidence
directly linking the parasitic
class of this nation to their facilitation of the attack on 9/11.
The US-NRE has
also claimed the right to
intervene against
"terror" anywhere in the world all the while it has been supporting
many
of
these
"terrorist
groups” not only to provide the pretexts for its plans
of
direct invasion, occupation and conquest, but also to disrupt,
discredit and
malign any nationalist movements that would appose these plans of
mayhem and
murder.
It called Iran, North
Korea
and Iraq
the
"axis of evil", a truly ridiculous statement since these countries
happened at the time to have no relationships with, and/or were
actively
antagonistic toward, each other. The US-NRE did this in an attempt to
deflect
the world's attention away from the "True
Axis
of
Evil", Israel
the
US-NRE and the Saudi Royal family.A
trinity of interested parties that have had long term financial,
logistical,
geo-political and even personal relationships for well over thirty
years.
This is simply
another classic US-NRE
SAP-Op, this time
against Venezuela.
First:
By making these statements the US-NRE
is lining up Venezuela
in its sights so that when the US-NRE and/or Israel
launch their long planned attack against Iran,
Venezuela’s
ally; it will allow the US-NRE to preemptively attack Venezuela if they should attempt to
follow through
on any
of their commitments to support Iran.
Second:
The US-NRE wants to preemptively
support incursions
by non-governmental actors, (mercenaries, "friends", para-militaries,
saboteurs, special operations groups “freedom fighters", etc.) against Venezuela
to
help topple its government or put further pressure on Chavez.
In addition to "painting" the
target, SAP-Ops allow the US-NRE’s presstitutes and other assorted
lackeys to
toe the line
regarding their propaganda efforts on behalf of the US-NRE's attack on
the next victim, they inform
the
parasitic class what this next attack will entail allowing them to
re-calibrate their
investment
decisions and opportunities, and they give the US-NRE’s allies their
marching orders
along with a
common set of “talking points” to coordinate their activities. – mpg

tremendous amount of power. And all efforts to poohpooh its influence
strike me as foolish until such time as the media address it openly and
vigorously, as they do, say, the gun lobby. Once there’s information
and sunshine, we can argue about its magnitude. -- The difficulty is
that you cannot be plain about this matter without addressing the idea
of Jewish influence. Israelis are often more plain about this. Anshel

out, and he made it clear in the report itself, that he and his staff
did not even consider the causes of the recent attacks in Gaza. In
fact, the first 20 minutes of his speech in this video deals primarily
with him saying over and over again that Israel has a right and even a
“responsibility” to defend its citizens against attacks, and for that
reason, his investigation didn’t delve into the CAUSE of Israel’s
Operation Cast Lead. -- It’s a good thing too. Because had he and his
staff looked into it, they would have found that Hamas had been
honoring the cease-fire agreement they had with Israel right up until
Israel, under the cover of the presidential elections of this country
on Nov. 4th 2008, openly violated the cease-fire agreement and
provocatively attacked Hamas members, killing 6 of them. The US

Palestine the US started a civil war between Fatah and Hamas. -- One
continuously reads from those Americans opposed to America’s wars of
aggression that the wars are possible because they don’t affect
Americans, just those few who sign up for the voluntary military. Thus,
there are insufficient material interests at stake to stop the war.
This is a common explanation for the weakness of the antiwar movement.
-- One could argue instead that it is the triumph of Karl Marx’s
materialist thinking that has made moral protests impotent. What is
morality? You can’t weigh it, define it, measure it. It can be
dismissed as the whining of material interests. In contrast, material
interests, such as lives, limbs, and bank accounts are real. -- For
whatever the reason, morality has shown itself to be an impotent force
in 21st century America."
“… now this may sound convoluted,
but not if one tracks the cultural response of hostility from every
passionate point of view when a leadership itself is so prone to
unjustifiable violence and un-American diminishment of the

you think the American hopeless will do…? We better consider what
the fundamentalist within will put on our table…” -- *Sean Penn*

A quote...."Tokyo (CNN) – In the first major shakeup among President
Barack Obama's senior staff, White House Counsel Greg Craig is being
pushed out in favor of veteran Democratic lawyer Bob Bauer because of a
dispute over plans to close the U.S. military prison in Cuba, CNN has
learned. -- Democratic officials said Craig was ousted because of
frustration among senior White House aides over his handling of the
plans to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay. As the White House's top
lawyer, Craig was pivotal in advising Obama to sign an executive order
during his first week in office promising to shut the prison by the end
of January 2010. -- In a politically embarrassing move that has
frustrated some of the president's liberal supporters, White House
aides have since backed off that deadline, citing complex legal issues
surrounding what to do with the approximately 200 terror suspects still
detained at Guantanamo." --- HAAAAAAAA!!! Haaaaaaaaaaa,

of his and this nation's time publicly kissing AIPAC's butt and NOW
THIS!! He couldn't even keep this one, tiny, totally symbolic

The

A quote...."The mercenary firm Blackwater has become a symbol of the
utter lawlessness and criminality that permeates the privatised wing of
the US war machine. The company's operatives have shot dead scores of
Iraqi and Afghan civilians, while former employees allege in sworn
statements that Blackwater's owner Erik Prince "views himself as a
Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic
faith from the globe", and that Prince's companies "encouraged and
rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life". Five Blackwater employees will
stand trial in federal court in the US on charges that they slaughtered
14 innocent Iraqis, while a sixth Blackwater operative has already
pleaded guilty. The company faces allegations of illicit
weapons-smuggling and tax evasion, and is being sued for war crimes.
The private army is under fire. And yet, despite all the action, none
of the legal bullets has – to date – landed a serious blow." -- also posted atUruknet

quote...."I came across this article from Haaretz. The overall jist of
the article is all about how Israel must investigate itself in order to
disprove the Goldstone Report. But, what I found to be quite stunning
within the article, actually had nothing at all to do with what the
article was really about, e.g. the Goldstone Report. -- No, for Israel
it is not the Goldstone report, the UN, Iran, Hamas, Palestine,
Lebanon, Syria or the never ending list of nations and people Israel
doesn't like. No, the problem exists with Israel. And it can be seen
clearly within sections of the aforementioned article which I have
posted below. That "problem" is the fact, the very sad fact, that for
Israel "War is Life, and Life is War." It is what they do, it is all
they do, jump from war with one, to preparing for war with another.
Israel does not know how to be anything but an armed aggressor,a serial
killer, continually looking for its next victim. Existing in a
perpetual state of "impending war." Note the ease and "manner of
factness" the writer of the article talks about the "Next War" as if it
is always inevitable? There can be no other way, there must always be
another war. The serial killer is never satisfied, on to the next
victim:"

A

Some quotes...."The Obama Administration proved twice recently that it
intends to continue to consider Israel above the law. Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton caused consternation amongst the US's allies in
the Palestinian Authority and across the region by declaring Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's intention to "restrict" settlement
activity in the West Bank "unprecedented." Netanyahu's restriction
restricts very little. Three thousand housing units that are already
approved will be built." -- "But there is a glimmer of hope that the
people of Gaza will see justice. The massacre brought about sweeping
change, across the world, in perceptions of Israel. Citizen-led
mobilizations in the past few months have showed that where governments
have failed, ordinary citizens can, perhaps, make a difference. Even in
the US, where public support for Israel has been consistently high, a
discourse supporting justice for Palestinians is now voiced in
mainstream media."
