Yet the "troops" are still voting for these jerks, jerks that sent them off to die for lies they made up, in wars they started, for which they’re receiving vast fortunes and profits.

To be honest, after five years of ridiculous self-serving claims of ignorance and a tidal wave of stupendously self-destructive and monumentally stupid behaviors exhibited by "our troops" this editor has been forced to give up all sympathy for the men and woman in the armed forces.

They, or at least their superiors after the Vietnam war, had PROMISED this nation they weren't going to do the same damn stupid thing all over again, no matter what the politicians said or did, no matter what the rich elites paid our politicians to say or do....and yet here we are, thirty years later, in the same damn mess all over again for reasons that are blatantly, demonstrably, criminally, obvious - and NONE of these reasons have anything to do with the defense of this country -  including the pretext used to start the whole murderous endeavor - the pretext called 9/11.
