The Innocent get Punished; The Guilty (Rich) go Free

Check out Chris Floyd at his
usual best in "Home
Free: American Power in Mahmudiyah” I’m pretty sure there are many
more incidents like this that will never see the light of day.
Is this what Bushy & Co. mean by "freedom and democracy"?
Just remember all you other countries, cultures and tribes out there if
the U.S. is angry at you, be cautious. If we say it isn't about
the money, hold onto your wallet. If we say it isn't about the
oil, start getting some nukes. And if we say we're there to
"help"
you, we want to be "friends" with you; we want to promote "freedom and
democracy" for you ...RUN!..... run as fast as you can and never look
back.... because we might be gaining on you.
To contrast the above article here's a little gem from Robert Perry's Consortium News "CIA: Osama
Helped Bush in '04"
And a second gem from In Cold Blog CIA Commander In Tora Bora
Admits US
Allowed Osama Bin Laden To Escape Capture In November 2001
What do you think... Bush keeps these reports on his coffee table for
his guests?
I know many Americans who don't read posts on web sites like this, if
asked about these issues would probably say something like...
"Osama who? 911 What? Oh....yeah....yeah, that's that
thing that happened ..... that's why we got's to kill all them
people in China.... or....erh, like uh... you know.... like
Venezuela that Middle East place ....you know...uh, like we got to get
them all, you know, bomb everyone of them."
Ain't America grand?
And here's what happens when you don't follow Bush's and Rummy’s "game plan",
taken from today's article in the New York Times "C.I.A.
Closes Unit Focused on Capture of bin Laden". I guess those guys at
the CIA just couldn't take a hint when Porter Goss purged
many of them.
What a suprise, geeez I'm shocked, shocked I say, really I am....
Like I've always said the innocent get punished and the guilty (rich)
go free.
I'll make a prediction right here and now, how much you want to bet
that every single one of Bush's fellow friends under investigation,
Republicans all, get to string out their prosecutions so they don't
have to serve a day in jail? And how many of you want to bet that
on Bush's last day in office every single one of his friends gets
pardoned?
Oh yeah...don't you just love America, I do, this is a land of
opportunity were if you're rich, you can truly do anything you
desire.......and I mean absolutely anything......absoooluuutlyyy
anything.

The day after I wrote this article, Kenneth
Lay convicted founder of the Enron Corporation and a Bush buddie
died of an "apparent” heart attack. I say apparent because you
never know with these Texans, allot of these guys in the energy
business are found dead all over Texas when these companies run into
trouble.
His death led me to reconsider what I wrote, that “this is a land were
if you're rich you can truly do anything you desire.” That’s not
totally true, the rich can’t do "absolutely anything."
They can’t deny death when it’s their time, they can’t take their ill
gotten gains with them when they depart this earth, and if the old
testament saying is true, “it is easier to pass a camel through the eye
of a needle, than to have a rich man enter through the gates of
heaven”, Ken Lay may still not have escaped prosecution.

It appears that Texans in the energy
business
aren't the
only ones winding up dead. It seems
being involved with a Texas
energy company can be hazardous to one's health no matter who you are,
or where
you are. Check out "Enron witness
found dead in park"
