They Got That Horrible Monster
MPG
Well they finally got one folks, that horrible “monster” out to get us
all, that dark “villain” who terrorized the whole world, the “mastermind”
upon whom all terrorist networks rely upon, the “boogie man” the “evil
one” the “icon of chaos”, yes folks I’m talking about none other then
Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.
There he was, fixture practically every night on your TV’s, while as
you stared mindlessly eating your pop-corn, your faux-news info-tainers
with eyes bulging in fear, lips quivering in terror, recounted the
dastardly deeds of this dark shadowy figure. Hands shaking in
terror, sweat beading their brows, they’d imply relentlessly that allof
us have to join together in the “WAR ON TERROR” or who knows, he’d pop
up from right under your bed. Shivering in fear as you retired to your
bedrooms, your bodies quivering like blobs of Jell-O you knew you’d be
safe because the mighty forces of righteousness would smite this
terrible demon and all the others like him throughout the world no
matter what the cost.
Ah…. our “mainstream” media is having a field day, ‘victory’,
‘victory’…. they’re shouting through the megaphones of the media
resources they control. Finally some ‘good’ news for a change,
instead of the steady relentless tragedy unfolding in our living rooms
every day from the quagmire of the middle east. Some people in
the press and in the administration are already saying ‘it’s a turning
point’ as they have for so many other ‘turning points’ in the past.
Isn’t it fantastic, the evil villain brought low? It must have
seemed all so familiar to you, like the fairy tales you were told as a
child…. and as a matter of fact that’s exactly what it is. A fairy
tale, and like infantile children you believed every word of it.
Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi is a myth,
a legend;
an illusion
conjured
up to serve the interests
of the authors of PNAC and the
elites who sponsored them, nothing more. A pawn, who
was allowed to live as long as he was useful for the ‘game’ to
continue, and one who will be as easily replaced as a shark replaces
it’s teeth.
For three years he was almost
nabbed or caught, always in the lime light but never in prison, and
never very effective as a military force. Finally he was killed….
it’s to bad we don’t have him alive so he could tell us what he knew,
but I guess he’s more useful as a dead terrorist than a live informant.
He was a thug and murderer, in charge of a modest organization not
linked to Al Quaeda, but after the start of the war they soon joined
forces to fight the occupation. More importantly for three years
he served a very useful role to antagonize
and inflame
the ethnic tensions in Iraq. A role that I reprised in my blog
“al Zarqawi,
al Qaeda the Media and the U.S.” and a role he was a
master at. As recently as a week ago he was fulminating against
the Shia urging the Sunnis to attack them and calling them snakes.
Such a role, despite what this government says to the contrary, served
a very useful purpose in dividing any national resistance movements and
perhaps even reduced what could have been much heavier casualties for
the U.S. ‘Divide and conquer’ has always been how the worlds
great powers reduce resistance in those countries they intend to permanently
occupy. So
why did U.S. forces go after Zarqawi?
Aren’t they on the ‘game plan’, after all he’s been a splendid poster
child for terrorism, a reason to ‘help’ the poor Iraqis. His
sudden demise could deal a death blow to our continued occupation of
the country. After all if the Sunnis and the Shias get together they
really won’t need the U.S. or its bases. He was also a great
justification for this administration’s repression in this country and
the “long war” on terror Rumsfield is so fond of talking about.
So why kill him now?
Admittedly Bush’s poll numbers are in the can, but so what, Bush has
said he doesn’t care about the numbers. Besides, Bush has already
fulfilled his function, he’s made a ton of money for his buddies and he
can’t run for reelection anyway. So why kill him now?
Admittedly the war’s nasty as can be, I mean it’s really been a lousy
month hasn’t it, all these terrible events in Iraq, the chaos, U.S.
troops involved in several hideous incidents, the casualties? I’m
sure some of our illustrious media wish they could report on something
else, anything else, something with a more positive spin to it. And
lets not forget the war’s nastiness was also going to hurt the
Republicans chances of keeping their jobs in the upcoming
elections. So why kill Zarqawi now?
Maybe those of you reading this article can figure it out? Hmmmm?
